GLSW Wild Country Training Expedition

County is arranging another residential training course for those working towards their Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold and Queen’s Scout Award expeditions.

Details as follows:

Dates:
October 24–28 inclusive (during half-term) 2010
Area:
Derbyshire Peak District (Dark Peak)
Base:
Bell’s Box near Hathersage
Minimum age:
16th birthday
Maximum age:
23rd birthday
Programme:
3 day walks including Derwent Edge and Kinder Scout, practising navigation and walking skills
Travel:
Car or minibus
Cost:
£65 inclusive of transport, accommodation and food.
Number of places:
10 maximum
