Queen's Scout & Duke of Edinburgh's Award Expeditions

GLSW has a programme of practice and qualifying expeditions in areas of wild country. Details of the next opportunities can be found on the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award / Queen’s Scout Award training expedition and Duke of Edinburgh’s Award / Queen’s Scout Award expedition pages.

If anyone wishes to qualify by bicycle, on horseback or water please contact the Deputy CC (Programme) for advice.

New arrangements for Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Gold expeditions in Snowdonia are now in place. Applicants should notify Plas y Brenin as the existing Expedition Panel has been stood down.

Please note that for the Duke of Edinburgh’s Gold Award you will need to have a record book.
